    Default Flashcode Options

So I have an XTS3000 with this Flashcode.
    581008-001A00-8

    Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
    H14/G114 Digital ID Display
H868/W298 Conventional Multikey and Analog Conventional MDC OTAR
G170/H43 Remote Monitor and Radio Trace
    H38/G51 Smartzone Operation
    W947/Q947 APCO Packet Data
    Q387 Conventional voting scan
    G182 Enhanced Radio Call Protocol

I understand what the IMBE/APCO-25 Digital Operation means
As well as the Digital ID Display, and remote monitor and radio trace, as well as Smartzone operations and Conventional Voting Scan.
What does Conventional Multikey and Analog Conventional MDC OTAR and APCO Packet Data, and Enhanced Radio call mean?
The radio does not show a secure module in the service menu when I access it, like my XTS2500 does.
Any help from the people that know these like the back of their hand?

Any multikey option allows more than one encryption key to be strored for use
MDC OTAR means that the MDC Ids can be changed over the air by a dispatycher or similarly equiped transmitter
APCO Packet data is basically using the radio as a data modem. The data is formated to fit the APCO P25 format.
Enhanced radio call means that you can have the radio do more than just send or recieve a beep.

the encryption module does not have to be installed for the feature to be active, needless to say it will need one to use the feature.

I would love to see this done, even if it only explained flashcode options! It's almost impossible to find out, in any detail, what some of them actually do by searching the net?

    from the Motorola Glossary

Customer Service - See "Customer Support"
Customer Support - See "Customer Service"

I guess this explains a lot.

I think we found a winner. Haha. Thanks for the info everyone. I just wish they made things easier. I feel bad for the people who work in MSS's and have to do this everyday.

For what it's worth, the CPS help file is fairly good at explaining how a lot of things in the radio work. If you have access to the programming software (CPS) getting context-sensitive help on each field in the radio programming screens reveals a wealth of information about each thing, so a lot of knowledge can be obtained in an indirect way, kind of ass-backwards, but eventually you'll get your questions answered...

IMO I think a comprehensive list of flashcode options and what they do would be great!

It's possible to change XTS3000 flashcode (add options) in a different way than via legal hardware key in CPS?

For example, my XTS3000 don't have "Digital ID Display" option, and I want to add it.

I heard of software named Lab and Depot, but don't know how it works and where it can be downloaded.
