Default Looking for XPR8300 firmware (R01.09.11)

Anyone have this file? Have a repeater that has much older firmware and would like to get it upgraded.

Does this make turn the repeater into an XPR8400 or is that still a different repeater then?

It would be a really neat trick if one could change a 8300 into a 8400 with a firmware upgrade.

As Mars alludes, the XPR8400 is NOT simply a firmware updated XPR8300. There are several hardware differences, the most important of which is the 8400 has 32MB of memory vs the 8300 which only has 8MB. This means the 8300 cannot do certain later features such as Linked Capacity Plus, and Remote IP Programming. Leave it to Motorola to stick such paltry amounts of memory into their products when it's dirt cheap.

The XPR8380 & MTR3000 had 32MB right from their beginnings.
