I'm running 11.2 build 605. If I flash my 7550 to 2.05 does anyone know if it will break the PTT?

Did you read the FSB posted in the other thread?

I'm no expert, but after having read the FSB, it seems to me that the issue relates to CPS 12 and firmware R02.40.x (among others).

It seems since 11.2 CPS != 12.0 CPS and 2.05 != R02.40.x, the FSB and its associated condition does not apply in your case.

Edit to add: in fact, your condition and resolution are CLEARLY listed in the FSB:

If the MOTOTRBOTM Subscriber Unit with 2.4a / 2.4b firmware has not already been written to using MOTOTRBOTM CPS 12.0 Build 642, then:
1. Continue to use MOTOTRBOTM CPS 11.5 Build 621
NOTE: May need to use MOTOTRBOTMCPS 11.6 to address license registration issues which cause Error #38046 to be prompted.
