IMPRES MUC adapter insert for XPR7550

    Two questions:
    1) Will the NNTN8170 adapter insert (advertised for the APX4000) fit an XPR7550? I'm leaning towards yes but wanted to confirm from someone who has actually used them.
    2) Will it fit in an old-school WPLN4127AR XTS/Saber MUC?

Yes, and yes. My records indicate that the NNTN8170 is what I bought from Jeff at Sandy's a couple of years back (I think that part number is actually for a multi-pack). I use it exclusively to charge XPR7550 batteries in my WPLN4127 MUC.

Along with an APX adapter the whole thing makes for a very handy/compact charging setup, since I don't need six XTS bays. I just wish I could get an HT/PRO series adapter--then it would be perfect!

I can second the information above, and in addition to that the RLN5648A adapter will charge the pro series radios in the WPLN4127 charger

I upgraded to xts2500 batteries for my HT/Pro series. Impres doesn’t display on the radios but they work and charge fine in the MUC. I used to use the quarters trick too.
