    Default Rebanding MCS2000

Hello everyone I am new to the forum and have a question about the MCS2000. What identifiers on the radio, serial number and such, indicate a radio that can be re-flashed for rebanding. Thanks for everyone's help in advance.

You need to know if it has 256k of flash memory or 512k. Look for a "Flashport" label on the radio. If it says that it SHOULD be rebandable.

I was under the impression (perhaps incorrectly) that all MCS2000's were rebandable.

What is the required Firmware version to make a 800 MCS rebandable?

    Thanks,

Motorola wants to upgrade customers to the latest hardware and software products. They have no interest in adding in support to a "obsolete" product.
