Let me start by saying I am glad to see the board back. I have purchased a HT1550 with a bad display. I have ordered a new display, but I would like to play with repairing the old one. The carbon paper flex is torn and cannot be rebounded. The LCD is fine. I have played with a zebra strip and see that the display does work, however it is very hard to cut a Z strip accurately and get it aligned properly to work. Does any one know of a source of carbon paper flex circuits? All I have been able to find are repair kits for car dash displays.

I would like to work on the FPP project, unfortunately I do not have access to a red battery.
