New XTL5000 Basic Service Manual attached. This one covers both the O and W series heads. The one above only covers W-series.

The part number in the BSM for the O5 housing assembly is invalid. If you wish to recase your O5 head with new plastic, the correct part number is: 1564047H06.

The p/n for the entire mid-power chassis has also changed. If you have a damaged/dented/scratched/cracked chassis, the correct p/n to order is 2785862C04.

    Hi All,

Are there any updates (FMRs) to the XTL5000 DSM? In the versions above, the 100 watt high powered models seemed to be added as an afterthought and had some sections missing, specifically the troubleshooting tables for checking things like low transmit power (reference chapter 5.6.26). These tables are there for the mid power units and provide a nice step by step guide to testing each section of the PA. I'm hoping these are available in an amendment to include the high powered models too.

If someone could check MOL or ask their contacts, that would be great. I have two high powered XTL5000 bricks that I am bout to dive in to

    Cheers,
    Matt

The versions posted match what is available today on MOL, with no revisions apparent.
    Apparently NOT a radio professional.
