    Default APX IMPRES Battery charger

Why is there a 4-pin handset port on the back of these chargers?

For connecting to the IMPRES Fleet Management System. There's an adapter box (NNTN8045A) that goes from this to a USB port to connect to a computer at your location, which is then networked to the Fleet Management server to keep track of the condition of the batteries. I haven't found a way to get the information from this locally like you can with the NNTN7392 unit. Still trying, though.

Oh ok. Makes sense now. If you find a way to get to it locally, keep me updated. I'd like that information. Thanks!
