    Default QuickFunk Badged A7 Spectra?

I've had this radio for some time. Can anyone tell me what the name implies? Instead of saying Motorola, it says "QuickFunk." It's a 403-433 analog trunking radio. Have always been curious about the name.

Interesting. I did a search and came up with a German article on Wikipedia. From what I can pick out of it, it is (or was) A part of a German telecommunications company called Dolphin Telecom. The article mentions TETRA in it. I have a friend that speaks German, I'll see if he can translate it for me.

What?!? Pictures if you can, please. It sounds like an adaptation of "TeleFunken", maybe? They (were) big in Germany for many years, not sure if they are still around. Funkytrunking?

I can get a better one, but here it is back in 2004 or so when I had it in my truck.

Ah.. found what I was looking for-
    http://www.oppermann-telekom.de/trunking.html

We offer you the remains of the former german trunking operators : Sprintel, Quickfunk, Terrafon, D.B.F BŁndelfunk, Regiokom

    Probably just rebadged.

Thanks, I just never thought much about it until going through some old boxes today.
