Default Best crimp tool for the job? Motorola accessory connectors for CDM/TRBO/APX

What official tools are best for crimping on the pins to accessory wires for these Moto radios?

I've seen ITT Cannon mentioned and Astro tool Corp too ?!?!

CCT-DL or CHT-DL type for ITT Cannon?

So far ITT unit 112108-003 seems commonly mentioned.

Over here in the UK, its anything with either Molex or Knipex branded, I've been using the same Molex tool for about 15 years

I can say the one I've used was a standard Molex crimper. It took some doing to get it in position but once in position it crimps it perfectly. Supposedly MOL specific crimpers don't exist outside their factory so you can't do it yourself. Also, if you're comfortable with it could look at soldering.

Both myself and Number 6 have ordered this one:

Iwiss Crimping Tools for 0.08-1.0... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01N1RFZZ4?...p_mob_ap_share

Works perfect. I have used it for Waris, TRBO and XTL.

Before ordering this or any other crimping tool, pay very close attention to the specs and make sure the dies are suited for your application.
