    They scrape off the MOTOROLA label between the display and front speaker until it reads MOT OLA. Other than that I have no strong feelings about them.

    I love how they show the damage right on their website in the picture comparing an XE with the regular. Hard to say why they thought that was a good idea, but hey, cant fault them for their honesty.

    Not only does it narf up the decal, it also narfs up the XE control top! What a cut rate piece of crap product!

    Concur. I had one and it eventually peeled away/broke off the rubber bumper around the XE head. Very expensive to replace!

    It'd be funnier if it scraped the TOR off, then it would say "MOOLA". Which is what they cost! {rimshot}

    Seriously, though... what's wrong with the standard OEM Universal carry holder? I find it more than sufficient. Fully secures the radio, doesn't mar/damage the radio in any way, compatible with any size APX battery (except the new HazLoc fatter APX battery...which has a new Universal carry holder to go with it), and has a relatively inexpensive cost. (there's usually a plethora of new/unopened ones for sale on fleabay).

    Great idea in concept, but being a 3D printed product I'd be worried about durability. Temperature rating would be another big concern.

    It's not great for use in the fire service. The best carry option there is, and always will be (imho) a Boston Leather strap and holster or equivalent.

    I'm also going to go out on a limb here and say that a lot of guys who have 3.5 portables on the front line... don't need 3.5 portables on the front line. Chiefs and safety officers so they can see who just went into emergency, sure, but for the guys on the trucks or ambulances a 1.5 portable is more than adequate.

    Good feedback from everyone. What got me to looking at this holster in the first place was the lower center of gravity. I personally feel the OEM one makes the radio sit to high on the belt.
