    Default Serial # change AS/XTS3k

I've searched, but couldn't find it.

It's been YEARS, I vaguely remember the 'clone' feature being involved.

Just wanted the SN to match what was on the tag.

Must be done with RSS, not CPS

Use Astro RSS clone to enter your s/n and save the archive.

Use MTSX (NO ASTRO) Depot, or Lab to read the archive and ignore the error, go back to last menu . (F3 F3, F10)

    Then use the read/write with no pack/unpack (F3 F4 F8)

    Thanks!

Trick is having a codeplug that RSS can read, otherwise you get the 'cpg too new' error... when last programmed with CPS. It's all coming back to me now.. Thanks again.

Yep, you need a DOS codeplug. Let me know if you can't find one I can get you one.
