    Default MCS2000 CPS Last Used

Does anyone know of a way to tell what the last version/revision of software used to program a MCS2000 was? I do have the ability to read the code plug.

You can't fix stupid, but eventually it takes care of itself.

No way to tell, short of reading it with multiple versions of RSS/CPS and see how far back you can go before getting the 'codeplug too new' error message.

Thanks for the replies. I used the version found on the forum and it worked. I had a bad experience a few years ago.

I've never seen Windows Depot for the MCS, but I have seen it floating around for the MTS. To modify MCS options, I recommend editing the feature descriptor block mods/checksumming.

Also just FYI, even though the MCS is discontinued/NLS, we can't trade or ask for ANY depot/lab software for any radio here, as those software tools were never intended for public distribution. Not suggesting you're violating forum rules, just letting you know
