    Default Hello from North Texas

    Hello,

My name is Nick, I'm currently a volunteer Firefighter and AEMT. I do most of the programming and configuration for the radio system that is run by our department. We typically utilize Motorola XTS/XTL model radios and some APX model radios. I'm a member of the Armadillo Intertie System that connects with Cactus in the south western US and pretty frequent HAM user. I live 60 miles west of Fort Worth and primarily work in healthcare as my day job.

Cheers and Nice to meet all of you,
    Nick D.

Wow. Small world. I spent several weeks out in the Cliffs during the PK Complex fire in 2011. Quite the ordeal. Hopefully they weren't affected!

Oh what an event. Their house was safe while neighbor's were infernos. I'll PM you next time I'm out that way, we can swap stories over a beer at the PK sports bar.

    Hi, you rang?

Y'all need to start coming out to HamCom so we can bring the Friday night meet at Bone Daddy's back.
