Default XG-100P keyfill through Hirose adapter?

Does anyone know if the XG-100P can be keyloaded through the typical Hirose adapter on the side connector? This would be using a Motorola KVL with Hirose cable.

Yes, but with PN 12082-0400-A1 not thru a hirose adapter.

I think the point is to avoid using a $170 cable. I am in the same boat, I shelled out $170 for a factory XG-100 KVL cable, which ended up being defective out of the box, and I had to exchange it. Now I need an XG-75 cable and if I can avoid having to buy another $170 by purchasing a hirose adapter, I would like to do so.

So.. has anyone bought one of these aftermarket hirose adapters from Impact or Waveband and tried it?

I bought the $51 Hirose adapter off Ebay only to find the same thing on Amazon for about $20 less. I also have an old Motorola Hirose KVL cable but need to borrow a KVL3000 to see if it works. I don't know if anything has changed from the old Motorola Saber and Spectra days to now on how many contacts are needed in the connector to handle key fill, but if its the same I see no reason why a Harris Hirose adapter can't contain the key fill connections.
