Lightbulb Kenwood TK-x180 Series J-Command Reference

    Hello Everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster - if I'm breaking any rules please let me know and I'll remove this post immediately.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as locating a reference document for the Kenwood FleetSync J Command reference? I have a TK-8180 which I would like to control remotely without having to use the KAS-10 software and was hoping to develop my own library.

I've done extensive Googling and found some people looking to achieve the same thing, but they all seem to have taken their discussion to PM which doesn't help me unfortunately.

Does anyone have any information which might be able to point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks in advance!

This document is very restricted. I don't think it's available freely on the web.

Check out with your local dealer. If they do let you access the document, you will probably have to sign an NDA.

Thanks for the response - this is what I had feared

Looks like it's back to reverse engineering the KAS-10 data.
