Jeez, you got DPW doing their own installs or something?

Got to preserve that power cord you never know when you will need it for the next install. Just think of the $$ saved by reusing the old possibly corroded power cables install after install after install.

I know most customers dont care about installs especially what they cant see. But that type of garbage is asking for a failure and in my books is placing the operator at risk for a completely avoidable radio install related failure.

We don't have any Bearcoms in the neighborhood, but there's at least one shop that I'm convinced hires all their rejected applications. Total mouth breathers. Some of the stuff they do is seriously dumb, would not be surprised at all if they did this.

Actually not, this came out of a two way shop or people they hired to do this job long before me. I get to be the bad guy bringing this up everytime I find this stuff now. The guilty shall remain nameless.

Notarola & p47 thanks for the chuckle. You definitely get it. I'm up to 6 bags like this now. I literally cut them at the bag and at least splice it back together properly then move the fuses to the tap point....there's no fuses in these trucks....

Actually what they did was take out an edacs system and put in the moto apx mobiles, literally cut the edacs flat power harness, opened the moto power cable, made the mess you see then put the power cord back in the back inside after crimping to the existing wiring in the truck, while this one had a tyrap on it, I've had them with bread ties to close the bags...

Some people should not be allowed to touch electronics.
