Default Astro Spectra Plus Recieve Audio

Is there a way to adjust recieved digital audio so the levels are close to the same regardless of transmission. Some are loud , some are soft and you have to constantly adjust the volume level. Do the mic gain settings being previously disscussed adjust the reciever as well ?

    Thank's

    Short answer: No.

You can tweak the treble settings (I use around -20 on digital) but there's nothing you to do to automatically level the received audio.

The radio-people running the system you're monitoring need to enable TX AGC on each subscriber radio. If they do not know what AGC is, they should not be employed in the radio business. Especially if it involves public safety communications.
