    Default 16 channel limitation removal

Has anyone figured out how to add more than 16 channels to a zone? I know this is done because of the 16 linked systems, but I have a lot more channels I want than just 16 in a channel, and then 16 to scan from.
    .
Does the EVX5400 CE142 software show that it can have more than 16 channels per zone?

Portables with no stop on the channel knob are unlimited, like the 7550, the 6550 has a hard limit of 16 on the channel per zone. Mobiles have no limitations, except how long you can scroll before you drive off the road.....

Just remember, if you try to drag a zone from a 7550 to a 6550 the software will bonk at you if there are more than 16 modes in the zone.

Thanks for the information. I do see now you can continue adding on the 4550.

Now, can anyone remove the pesky 16 scan limit? I have my Vertex 4204 scanning 37 channels right now.

Looks like CE142 limits you to 16 channels a zone, so guess no continous rotary on them.
