    Anyone knows what's inside this thing ? I suspect something like RIB or more smarty thingie ?

    I have one I think still, I'll see if I the schematic is in the service papers that came with it. If not I can probably snap a pic of the inside of it if that would help any.

    Default RIM II (Remote Interface Module)

    Here is the manual for the RIM II.
    We used these for System Watch on an old Smartnet system I used to maintain.


    First try at an attachment so hope it comes thru.

    Wow! This design is ancient. Any chance the PROM can be preserved for history as well?

    Yes, getting his PROM contents would be very very valuable addition for my development efforts.
