Default Astro Saber upgrade from MII to MIII?

I have an Astro Saber Model II which I'd like to upgrade to a Model III (full keypad).
Can this be done without having to change the firmware of the radio?

I've got a spare Model III housing with rubber keypad.
    Thanks!

The firmware is the same, but you have to use some MTSX depot tool to force a M3 srecord (raw codeplug) into the radio.

Make sure you either write down the radio's tuning values before you do this, or be prepared to realign the radio.

    Thanks!
Any idea on where to obtain (the probably long time obsolete-) MTSX tool?

    No bad feelings, Magnus.
