Default MCS2000 and the GMN6147B Microphone

I have several GMN6147B mics for use with the MCS2000's. My question is has anyone else out there had an issue with horrible, overly bassy audio response using these mics? I have 5 in total, all new, and all sound pretty bad compared to the NMN6210D DTMF version of those mics or the white HMN4069D mics.
Its not a radio issue, nor MIC AGC setting in the CPS, its definitely a mic issue but as to what specifically is wrong I am at a loss.
    Thanks for any help

If it makes you feel any better, I had exactly the same issue with the GMN6147 on my MCS's. I just gave up on it and used the NMN6210. It may be compatible with the MCS, but I think ultimately, it was just meant to be the service mic on the MTR2000.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one that is disappointed with them, lol.
Good to know that they were bad mic's from the get go.
