    Default Unmuting late

Hello all I have an Astro Spectra that I am using for the No-affiliate method for a 9600 baud system. Is has the following

    10.71.00.00
    N08.03.03

This radio un-mutes late and affiliates only once when the radio is first turned on.

Now I have another radio that is programmed the same way. I have the following that was flashed by Mars and works perfect.

    10.72.00.00
    N08.03.05

Is there a difference between the two firmware versions to cause this issue?? Thanks in advance.

I know there WAS a firmware upgrade for the Astro Spectra that resolved this issue. Exactly where the fix was introduced, I don't recall.

You should upgrade your firmware before tearing your hair out. There is more involved in a firmware upgrade than just a bump. Often the codeplug structure needs to be updated, or just needs to be fixed as Mars found with your other radio.
