Ah crap. MOL link is dead. They've F'd it up on their end. Will post once they fix their broken-ass website.

In the meantime, here's the release notes.

Yes I could use it. Infact I could use all the firmware files you have to share. There seems to be a demand for older firmware files.

Ah, so it has. Just grabbed it... don't see any mention of what's new/changed however though.

I would agree. It would be nice to have an archive of firmware, as some Ham MotoTrbo Networks ask that subsciber units be at certain firmware levels.

I'm just getting started working with the Ttbo line, personally. One of the portables I recieved has 1.00.01 in it. It barely functions at all! So on a personal level I'd love to see Portable AA 1.08.xx pop up here.

I have a pile of LA, EMEA, AZ firmware that does me no good, but I can upload to help those that might need it

Great, thanks! I'll be seeding for others that want it. There's tons of LA/EMEA/AZ firmware freely downloadable but basically no AA it seems.

Still would love to see AA 1.08.23 or thereabouts!

Hello everybody. Sorry my english is not very perfect. Thank you for this share. I have a question. I not found inside the folder H55QDC9JA1AN_PMUE2580CA_N_R010820_100001. I search this file, for clone my old Radios (DP 3400). Can you help me? Thanks to all

    Hello!

I'll send you a link to everything you should need for the DP series.

The firmware files presented here are only for 'AA' North America region radios (XPR 4xxx/6xxx etc). This is indicated by the _N_ in the filename.

For a DP 3400 you want EMEA Europe/Middle East/Africa region firmware. These have _E_ in the filename.

The fact that each individual TANAPA has it's own firmware file is bizarre to me, and even more bizarre that the distributed archives from MOL are not labelled as to the region they support! You have to grab a 150MB file and install it before you can see whether the package contains what you need.

For reference this is what I learned in my search for Firmware. If I got it wrong, someone please correct me!

XPR are 'AA' North America and have N in the filename
DGP/DGM are 'LA' Latin/South America Region and have L in the filename.
DP/DM are 'EMEA' Europe/Middle East/Africa and have E in the filename.
XiR are 'AZ' Asia. I don't know what the filename indicator is. Anyone?

    hi safe
yes, you are right. I missspelled in my last post, H55QDC9JA1AN_PMUE2580CA_E_R010820_100001 would be correct. and i agree, for DP3400 it should be EMEA. Thus, it seems i have the wrong upgrade version (file: Mototrbo_R010820_100001_Portable.exe).
The problem i have is that although i've registered at motorola businessonline, i do not get access. That's why i thought i'll try and ask in this forum if maybe someone can send me this .exe (link to share), or alternatively .lmx, .pak file, so i can upgrade my old DP3400, so i can clone them with the new ones.

    Welcome Peter!

I'd be happy to help lead you to the firmware, but Private Message is disabled below a certain post count to encourage participation and discourage leeching/spam (not to accuse you of that.)

If you have a project you are working on, or perhaps something you have wanted to know more about let the forum know!
