    Question the OP didn't ask. Does it require a different FLEX??

    Yes, it does.

    I received the same TIB as shown in the picture to replace the newer 0 series TIB, and it came with a FLEX that was marked as "HIGH POWER, 03, 05... ONLY...", so a new flex is required.

    In the XTL5000 Basic manual - 6881096c73-B, (where it shows W series heads), the TIB to drawer Flex is shown to be 3064658H01.

    Would be nice to see the schematics/signals that are on the 2 different flex boards. (to see if one can be <easily> made to work with a W series head).
