    Default Astro Spectra discriminator pin

Just want to confirm with the experts here... I'm looking to run a headless Astro Spectra 800 for Trunk88. In order to get the discriminator audio off the rear DB15 port, I'm using Pin 11 for the output, and Pin 8 as the audio ground? All the descriptions I've seen give pin 8 as "digital ground, which is why I'm asking...

    Thanks!

Use the frame as your ground. The digital ground is not at zero volts.

You may also wish to seriously consider using an audio isolation transformer, so as not to ground-out anything in the audio section.

Thanks! Of course now I realize I have to get a pin-remover to move a pin over on the DB15 plug.
