Default XTS2500 FPP and Trunking Help and Clarification

I have a panter88 XTS2500 which has a flashcode with both FPP (Q52 & Q53) along with trunking (H38) and am trying to get both FPP and trunking working or just trunking only.

However, when I bought the radio I initially used CPS R19.01.00 to read and write to the radio and discovered that there were 240 conventional personalities predefined with 16 zones. I came from a HT1250 and thought that was normal and carried on programming. However once I wanted to start getting trunking working with the radio, I could not change the channel personality type from "Cnv" to "Trk". I read how having both FPP and Trunking caused this problem but I am still having problems getting trunking to work.

I used your Cpfix utility to change the codeplug from R19 to R09, and then read the radio with the R09.01.02 CPS which now shows the 240 conventional personalities and 16 zones. However, I still can not change the channel personality type from "Cnv" to "Trk", and the "Enable FPP" option on the "Protection" screen in the edit zone screen. Additionally, I can find no way to delete the extra zones and personalities.

Is there something that I am missing to make this work, or is it forever broken because of the CPS R19 write?

    Thanks.

Just noticed that there was a discrepancy between the flashcode and what shows up in the R09 CPS. Trunking only shows up in the decoder but not in CPS.

Q53 is what's throwing everything off.. If it had only Q52 & H38, you'd be fine running it as a R09 radio.. Once Q53 gets in the mix, it's game off.

So there is no way to get the trunking working with this flashcode?

If not, can I get rid of the 240 conventional personalities, but then add some back if I need them, with FPP?
