    Hi, Greetings from Costa Rica. I have a 7000 APX 800/700-VHF, I can not activate the secondary band (VHF), can you help?

    Your radio needs the "QA00579 Enable Dual Band Operation" option added to it. Contact your Motorola Rep to get a quote.

    Ok, that option is a software add or hardware ??

    Software. As discussed before on this very thread, all the boards are dual band. QA00579 is a flash option available for purchase from Motorola that enables the radio to utilize the board's secondary band.
