In case of emergency situations, the user of a mobile
radio may need to secretly communicate to the base
station. The RLN4836 Emergency Foot Switch
provides the means to quickly and secretly trigger the
Professional Radio to send an emergency alert.

Be REALLY careful where you mount one of these. Most every place under the flooring of modern sedans, SUVs and pickups are not easily used or even suitable. A lot of these are used in Taxis, buses and other fleet type vehicles where little to no carpet or sounded matting is used which would interfere with the operation. Plan routing carefully and insure operator training as part of the install.
