    Default End-of-year Site Feedback

    Members,

It's end-of-year feedback time. Is there anything you'd like to see improved on this site? Any changes that would make it easier for you to use? Any extra forums we should consider adding?

Complaints are also welcome, but keep them classy. Positive feedback is also appreciated!

    Thank you for your consideration.

A place for local get togethers, like swap meets, to list.

I just want to say thank you for all the work that goes into the site. It is a valuable resource to many people. I've learned a lot in the last year for which I am very grateful. Happy Holidays.

This is a great site. While I would rank myself at the beginner/intermediate user, I LOVE the technical info this site provides, with out the crap peanut gallery of certain other sites. Keep up the GREAT work.

This site has been very helpful in many ways. If it weren't for the fact that sponsors pay the bills to keep the site running, I'd donate $$ myself.
One of the newest features is one which I find very helpful. It's the "Top-10 Stats" section. My only request is "can it be moved to the top of the page on a per-user config basis?".

I'd like to see a 10 question quiz at registration that gauged the new user's LMR prowess and assigned a rank of say 1 for new radio owner/RR.com user to 5 for Mars/Mother M God...

Have that rank show up next to the user's avatar on their posts.

I think it's great. Full of helpful people. I know they won't do the work for you, but they will put you in the right direction.

    Keep up the good work.

Great site , many thanks to the Admin, his lieutenants, and all that post/contribute to my continuing education.

Of all the tech info related sites I visit, I find myself here more than anywhere else, seeking "input" as Johnny Five would say.

I have noticed when I come across links to threads here in older posts they are not translating from the P25.ca domain to the new one. May be browser security settings related on my end, haven't really looked into it, but I thought I'd mention it while I was here.

Great forum, great bunch of folks.

    Season's Greetings to all.

I was thinking of a couple suggestions for the For Sale Area, two in particular.

    1. "Group" listings -- i.e.; "bunch of Motorola stuff" -- Items > $100 should be broken out to their own posts. Thinking $100 since that's the cut-off for the pic/username rule.

    2. Sub forums for categorical listings..? By manufacturer, or perhaps by product line...or...?!? Not sure, but it occurred to me that if the site currently does not really need this, if growth continues, it may be needed.

C.S isn't the largest marketplace, to be sure, but it certainly is one of the most reliable. The attention to reputation by admin/mod here along with the majority of the active user base keeps it reliable -- and should be recognized. Thanks to all for their efforts.

It is a fine thing to be honest, but it is also very important to be right
