    Default MotoTRBO PC Emulation?

I recently heard a rumor that there are Amateur groups working on a PC to IPSC software solution to enable MotoTRBO emulation directly from a PC desktop (without a repeater and/or client radio attached), similar to the stuff that hams have done with the D-Star protocol. My rudimentary Google searching has failed to turn up a group that is publishing their progress. Is anyone aware if this is really going on?

to my knowledge dstar emulation requires the AMBE dongle
for trbo it can be done with smartptt server http://www.smartptt.com/en/
to create such a thing from scratch would not be trivial

You can use Mimer SoftRadio. It will give you a virtual control head on your PC. See www.softradio.se
