Perhaps Motorola should get off their asses and start making a replacement for the DIU3000. Why on earth did they discontinue a piece of required infrastructure without any replacement?

    Typical idiots.

Motorola will no doubt sell these used DIUs for at least $2,000. They still need to make an insane profit.

Or else they need them for parts.

Sun was going around buying Ultra Enterprise 10000 (64-socket big iron UNIX box) parts off eBay when they discontinued the it, because so many E10Ks were still in production in all sorts of places when they went EOL, and they got caught with their pants down without enough parts to keep those machines under support contracts running.
