Default Phase II in the Phoenix Metro, Mesa P25 systems?

Has anyone heard anything about the Phoenix system or the Mesa PS system migrating to Phase II equipment or infrastructure?

The Phx system or RWC (Regional Wireless Cooperative) as its known is in preparation to go phase II from what I've seen. They are currently updating all of their sites from 800Mhz Control Channels to 700Mhz Control Channels. Also, Phx is migrating to Motorola APX6000's as many of their officers and other city employees are now using them.

As far as Mesa or the TOPAZ RWC I have not heard of any updates anytime soon. I would assume within the next year or so. I know some Gilbert PD are using the APX6000 portables.

MCSO has been issuing Motorola APX7000's as well as APX6000's the past 6 months or so. They are on a type II smartzone system so I'd imagine they would be upgrading sometime in the near future.
