Having major issues with AF Suppress on 2.0 series (XPR7550 XPR7350) with R02.40.00 FW.

We have to use AF Suppress due to customer requirement. No choice.

It appears AF Suppress does not work in 7000 series with the latest R02.04.00. It is falsely triggering and muting receive audio even where there is absolutely no feedback.

When radios are in completely different rooms, out of acoustic range from each other, with AF Suppress on XPR7000 series enabled, large parts of transmissions are muted to a silence. Entire words are reduced to silence.

Issue is especially bad with RSMs. A high pitched "dissolving" noise is also present when AF suppress is enabled. This is not noticeable on XPR6550 with R01.12.13.

We have tried AGC enabled as well as fixed gain with internal = 13 and accessory = 15.

We have tried with noise suppressor on and off. Environment is set to Default, Profile is set to Default.

XPR6550 seems fine in same field environment.

Has anyone else had issues like this? If you have XPR7000's with 2.4 and RSMs, would anyone be willing to test this? We are using PMMN4050 but problem seems to be just as bad with other RSMs.

Or if anyone is successfully using AF Suppress with XPR7550 and 2.4 firmware please post configs and FW versions.
