I was in the process of filling up my APX with frequencies, and ran out of conventional personalities at 256! This seems surprising, on an APX7000 that was meant to be the replacement for two XTS5000's, each with 255 conventional personalities, it seems odd that it all won't fit.
Further playing around, I noticed when viewing lists of things in grid view, if you hover the mouse over the box where it has the number of records to add at the top, it will tell you how many remaining records you can add to the list. This is nice, it allowed me to figure out the maximum number of table entries for most everything in the APX7000's as follows:
Max Zones - 200
Max Trunk Systems - 70
Max Trunk Personalities - 200
Max Conventional Systems (signalling) - 50
Max Conventional Personalities - 256
Max Scan Lists - 200
Max Voting Scan List Entries - 10
Max Conventional Scan List Entries - 30
Max Priority Monitor Scan List Entries - 50
Max Multi-System Talkgroup Scan List Entries - 250
Just a quick reference. Everything seems generous enough, except the number of Conventional Personalities. For a VHF/UHF radio with no trunk systems, 255 channels seems to be a fairly limiting constraint for such a modern, EXPENSIVE radio!
