APX R14 QCII Encode Question

Has anyone actually been able to get QCII ENCODE to work? The help file for CPS 14 still says QCII is decode only but the firmware release notes says it will do it. I have firmware 14 and CPS 14 but when I select QCII for Non-Astro signalling it won't let me select Encode & Decode without turning red. Any ideas on how to make this actually work?

You have the tone signaling flashcode option, correct?

Please avoid hijacking threads with off-topic questions. The OP is about APX Conventional RSSI and you are asking about APX QCII encode. Try to do better... thanks.
