If an Astro25 mobile was used with an Advanced System Key (ASK), is it now a brick (without the same ASK) or can that be cleared out for re-use?

I'm not speaking on behalf of Mars and I hope I'm not stepping on any toes but just to save a flood of PMs there are no magical "instructions" for clearing an ASK requirement other then doing it as Motorola intended it to be done.

Apologies to Mars if I spoke.. err.. typed out of turn?

Wirelessly posted

Andrew is correct, there is no magic fix for a ASK locked radio. However there are ways other than sending it to the depot.
