I have a XPR5550 with firmware version 2.4 installed. I am having an issue with the audio on my hhch remote control head. At the beginning the audio is normal but then gradually gets louder and louder into a cresendo that will drive ya out of the car. The only way to prevent this is shutting off "intelligent audio". Does anyone know if there is a correct setting to prevent this other then shutting off the intelligent audio?

Any help would be appreciated!

That's how "intelligent" audio is supposed to work. It adjusts itself depending on the ambient noise present. Simply turn this annoying feature off, then set your volume as you would on any other radio.
