Are there any with the channel knob other than the GPS version that work? I know they are similar in firmware to the 5000 and the cps gives an option to lock rsm volume/channel.

Yes, some of the Commander II series speaker/mics have channel knobs but no GPS, and are correspondingly cheaper... Again, see that chart for more info including which ones have knobs. Heheh. Knobs.

Was looking into a commander mic for my 2500. What I'm confused about is why do all the mics on this chart that say compatible with the XTS2500 have knobs? I thought the too knob was only a XTS5000 option.

I would like a commander style mic for my 2500 with no top knob. Which product would that be?

Did you look at the chart?

None of the "Commander" mics are compatible with the 2500. There are a couple GPS RSMs which will work, or there are some standard RSMs which obviously work. I have an RMN5023B in front of me which stupidly works on my MTS2000's (vol doesn't work) but my 2500's act like its not even there.

I have had varying luck with Commanders on 2500's, some seem to work and even the GPS worked on one (I'm not sure if it's supposed to), but on some, its a no-go.
