The 1.6 Connect Plus system planner contains this note -

Note: The following data features are not currently supported while the radio is selected to a Connect Plus enabled zone and channel:

- Over-the-air programming for the radio’s main board as configured via MOTOTRBO CPS. (Over-the-air programming for the Connect Plus Option Board is supported).

If I'm reading this correctly, it confirms my understanding that there is no way to pass data to or from a Connect Plus subscriber (XPR-5550) and an external tablet, display, scanner, etc.

Am I missing something ?

I'm pretty sure it can be done. Third party vendors such as NeoTerra are working on MDTs, if they haven't already implemented it. It does have to pass the data via a XRT.

I had heard that as well, but I am not sure they have been successful. The XRT part does not bother me if that's what it takes, but everything I look at indicates it can't be done.

The issue seems to be the way the Connect Plus option board component is handling (or not handling) the data streams. An I don't see anything when looking at the CP Option Board CPS (R01.06.23) that allows what I am attempting to do, which is hang a Tablet via Bluetooth, or Cable on the XPR-5550.
