I finally received an XPR5550 off eBay, which was listed as a "40 watt" model being sold by a ham.

I bought it since it was a great deal and verified everything worked out of the box. Today I finally got the chance to read the codeplug to learn I have a "low power" model instead of a "high power" model. Which is where my confusion began...

1) Is the low power model 30w or 35w on the high end? CPS is stating it as 35...

2) Is there an XPR model breakdown anywhere? I Googled the model number before buying it and got very limited info back so I just believed the listing, and

3) Is the difference between the high and low power actual hardware or a software limitation?

Either way - glad to have a "REAL" DMR radio in my hands... going to enjoy this a lot more than some of the junk I have handled on DMR.
