I've got a digital astro Spectra high power radio that I use in my volunteer fireman/emt work and sometimes with ham radio. The radio has a motorola HMN4044E handheld control head microphone.
I need to add a siren to my vehicle and I have a couple of stand alone options, but would like to have less clutter and go with the system 9000. One I'm looking at is the 9000. Its listed for Astro Spectra or XTL. Is there a difference between the 9000 for a digital astro spectra and a ""Astro Spectra""?
I've noticed in the RSS over the years there's provisions for siren/pa, but truthfully I've never paid any attention. Since I joined the FD/EMS, it has become important.
