I am using HLN6863A and still getting audio to the internal speaker. Is there another connector that is supposed to be used? I have poked around in CPS to see if there are any settings but I see none. I am tired of removing the head and unplugging the speaker.

Practice makes perfect! There is no other method that I have found, short of running a drill bit through the voice coil. The radio resembles a CDM, in that you have to take the head off to disconnect the internal speaker.
