Hi List,

I am curious to see how these babies network over IP networks. To that end, I am wondering if anyone out there has access to one that is linked via ethernet, and is able to plug a laptop into a switch and use Wireshark to capture some traffic as the repeater is in action. This is purely out of curiousity and might be fun to try :)

So, are there any radio techs out there that can help with the above?

Cheers,
Matt

I can probably assist with the TB9100. What are you looking for?

Wireshark captures. You'll need to plug a PC into the switch that the TB9100 sits on and make sure its on the same subnet as the repeater itself.

Download Wireshark from here www.wireshark.org and install it. Once its installed, it will let you capture traffic from the laptops network card. Wireshark then lets you save this to disk as a .pcap file.

Thats what I'm looking for :)

I'm familiar with the process, but are you looking for just idle traffic or voting or what?

Ah, as many types of traffic as you can generate! - Idle traffic, voice traffic, data traffic (if possible) - The more the better!!

Thanks!!

Cheers,
Matt.
