DR3000 cap plus will I lose the EID?

Good afternoon from a beautiful day in Melbourne, Australia

This may be a dumbo question, but I have 3 DR3000's with cap plus flash

I want to tinker with IPSCc, If I change the programming to IPSC will I lose my capacity plus capability ?

I will obviously save all code plugs before tinkering but not sure how the EID thing works as I don't want to pay again

Any advice appreciated, thank you in advance

The short answer is no. You should have your EID keys on file just in case.
