Early firmware XTL5000 - can ignition sense be disabled?

In a remote head setup there is a jumper in the control head that you have to move to disable ign sense on the W5 head on an XTL5000 i did this a few years ago for 7 ambulance radios. The mod was only done to the front control head only did nothing the rear head. I will try and find the info at work tomorrow on this mod. I'm not 100% sure if it work on a dash mount or not. I was given this mod by tech support at Motorola support about 6 years ago.
