Hello all,

I'm looking to come up with a solution for remote access to my ham DMR repeater from Echolink or IRLP. Has anyone on here come up with some sort of solution?

I see that there are several echolink/IRLP interfaces out there and I am really curious about which one would work better.

If anyone has any experience with this or ideas, please chime in.

I have just such a setup. I'm using an XPR4350 programmed on a single, "EchoIRLP'" talkgroup. I interfaced the IRLP board to the rear accessory connector of the XPR4350.

The only issue with this setup is that it can stomp on other TG's on the same time slot, since it goes to the repeater directly and not through the c-Bridge where hold-off timers could be configured, etc.

I use the SignalLink USB's on my Echolink system (not on DMR yet), they are true USB sound cards which allow you to isolate the audio unlike most interface devices which are nothing more than simple PTT controllers that rely on your computer's built in sound cards which can be noisy and a PITA.

They aren't cheap ($100) but they work very well.
