Got my MCS2000 programmed up and it sounds great. I have a couple of questions before I put it into service full time. Since I am new at this I want to ask questions and make sure everything is at it supposed to be.

-Currently I just have one site programmed and have the affiliate on PTT selected. Does this cover me as far as affiliating?

-There are really just two sites that I want to move back and forth from. Will the AMSS (I assume Automatic Site Selection) work for the radio moving back and forth on it's own?

Thanks for all the replies.

You should enable the TX inhibit from the menu selection also just to be extra sure your radio doesn't TX.

As for the second question I don't know. I keep my mcs2000's in the shack and they sit on a single site.

Thanks for the reply. I think I am just gonna program the radio for each site. The AMSS is not working too well.
