Hell may have finally frozen over. I consider Hytera (not the HYT crap) to be pretty close to /\/\ in terms of quality. Amazing to see an upper tier manufacturer actually reaching out to the amateur community instead of ignoring it completely. Just ordered an MD652 from another dealer before seeing this (also don't see the 652 listed yet) but you can be sure I'll be grabbing a Hytera portable to replace my CS. Seems pretty logical...take an LMR radio, strip out the crap that 99% of hams don't (or legally can't in the US) use and viola, a business model.
