Can a Hytera radio with their implementation of IPSC roam between Trbo repeater sites? Just got a great deal on an MD652, should be here this weekend. Interested in trying out roaming, if it works of course lol.

Thanks!

Should work fine. All a roaming beacon consists of is a series of idle frames on both timeslots, with a defined color code.

So long as the HYT can understand the concept of receiving idle frames + matching color code, it should understand "hey, this repeater is in range", and take a RSSI sample.

IPSC roaming is basically conventional voting scan, except digital.
